Michiel Nuytemans
Co-founder of Tree company and political scientist by training. Over the years, he has gained a lot of experience in working out functional analyses. Michiel forms the bridge between designing participation processes and the technological tools
necessary for this. He now has over 10 years of experience guiding governments in participation processes and designing online tools for this very purpose.
Erwin Berghmans
Founded Tree company together with Michiel out of his interest in society and application development. With a bachelor’s degree in social agogics and various courses, combined with 20 years of experience within software development, Erwin holds the technical reins for all developments on platforms and customisation projects
Eva Henkens
From a strong interest and commitment to society, Eva studied political and social sciences. Within socio-cultural work, she was introduced to participation and civil society.
Eva provides straightforward support to local authorities and organisations with enthusiasm.
Robbe Van Petegem
Robbe combines a background in philosophy with IT. This enables him to translate social questions into technical solutions (and vice versa) like no other.
Robbe therefore bridges the gap between the needs of organisations and technical developments.
Peter Nies
Over the years, Peter has been able to enrich his background of political science and public administration with expertise in strategic communication and citizen participation.
In addition, his experience as a cabinet member, municipal councillor and alderman has given him a perfect insight into the workings of a (local) government
Frederik
Frederik is our data & visualisation wizard: he combines knowledge and experience as a designer, developer and researcher. He likes to apply this combination to interactive media.
Frederik helps ensure that data and input from citizens can still be presented in a comprehensible way.
Vicky De Mesmaecker
With a strong interest in the human mind, a big heart for user research and a strategic mindset, as starting points Vicky focuses on understanding the user of digital solutions and translating insights about their needs into a meaningful experience. She draws on her experience as a social scientist (PhD in criminology) on the one hand and as a market researcher and digital strategist (GfK, Ordina, Emakina) on the other.
Bert Hendrickx
Bert is responsible for the Bpart participation platform. As a digital native, he feels at home in the digital world and the opportunities it offers us like no other.
Since 2010, he has worked at research firms iVOX-Indigov and GfK as a specialist on digital evolutions for consumers, media and society.
Dieter Van de Putte
Both a historian and a futureproof intellectual, Dieter has a knack for using technology to achieve comunity goals. He has gathered over 15 years of experience in the fields of citizen-participation, education and healthcare. Leaving his mark on each field by working out trajectories for change and improvement.
As a consultant at Tree Company Dieter specialises in the relationship between citizen and policy.
Hanne Bastiaensen
Hanne has been active in the participation-field since 2012. Passioniate about creating opportunities to involve civilians in the decision processes of government, she loves developing new ways to involve citizens in societal themes. She has worked in local and international levels in creating, shaping, guiding and supervising projects.
All of this experience Hanne brings to Tree Company, where she focusses on creating a variety of digital solutions.
Sofie Marien
Sofie relies on years of experience researching communication and participation as a professor in political communications at KU Leuven. She happily transfers these insights to her work on your project, to maximise civic involvement and engagement.
Simon Bil
Simon Bil Has a master’s degree in Computer sciences and Engineering. He combines comprenhensive technical know-how with a extensive practical experience in web-design.
Simon is a valuable adition to our team because of his ability to transform complex technocal challenges in to innovative solutions.
Fien Stappaerts
Fien has a passion for creating visual experiences. She graduated with a Masters in Fine Arts, focusing on the digital context. She takes that experience with her when creating strong designs that are both visually stimulating and functional.
That way, Fien brings your project to life.
