Build it: involve citizens in public space choices, and simulate their impact!

Using an interactive simulation, you can let citizens make choices in public space: how we move around, where to place renewable energy sources…

Thanks to the 3D simulation, citizens immediately discover the impact of their choices on the public space!

Inform through interactive storytelling

Take your citizen through the story of their environment. How much energy do we need? How many trips do people take everyday? What do interventions in public space cost? What could your environment look like in the future?

Create awareness through a visual, interactive simulation

We present the participant with choices. Which renewable energy sources are you counting on? How do you see the relationship between pedestrians, cyclists, public transport and cars?

The virtual landscape immediately changes based on the choices the participant makes. The landscape becomes greener, or parking is added. Solar panels and wind turbines appear or disappear.

With VRT's EDUbox, students discover the impact of mobility choices through an interactive simulation

Participants build their virtual landscape

Ask participants to submit their ideal landscape, city or environment. Find out how citizens would solve your puzzle. Gather your stakeholders’ choices and motivations.

Mobility, energy and customisation

We developed two concrete products that we adapt to your organisation and your environment: mobility and energy.

Or we start together from a clean slate: together we set up the landscape and interactive simulation that suits your challenge!

Mobility: choosing together for a sustainable denouement

What should the traffic mix in your city or municipality look like? With the mobility challenge, involve and query your citizens!

  1. We collect profile and behavioural information from participants
  2. Via a virtual simulation of your city or municipality, we examine the “ideal mobility mix”
  3. Participants identify pain points and opportunities for concrete measures
